Cory Doerksen

With more than 20 years of experience in the trucking and transportation industry, I’ve built my career from the ground up — starting behind the wheel and working my way into operations, leadership, and business ownership at Phil’s Transport Limited.

My experience began hauling grain and livestock before transitioning into flat deck and specialized transportation. Those years on the road gave me firsthand knowledge of what it takes to move freight safely, efficiently, and reliably, while understanding the challenges drivers and customers face every day.

Today, I’m focused on leading Phil’s Transport and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a growing transportation company. We specialize in flat deck, step deck, oversize and over-dimensional freight, machinery and equipment, steel and building materials, and specialized transportation throughout Canada and the United States.

I believe strong relationships are at the heart of this industry. Whether I’m working with a customer, driver, supplier, or industry partner, my approach is straightforward: communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and find practical solutions when challenges arise.

Trucking has been a major part of my life for more than two decades, and I’m proud to continue building Phil’s Transport around the same values that got us here — reliability, experience, accountability, and personal service.
